Water cart hire in Brisbane and Ipswich, operator included

Water cart hire across Brisbane and Ipswich, with an experienced operator on every job. It's wet hire only, with a guide rate of $115 an hour and a 2 hour minimum.

The cart fills at council standpipes and carries all the fittings it needs, so you don't have to find water on site.

What you can book the water cart for

Dust suppression

Keep haul roads, pads and stockpiles damp so dust stays on site and off the neighbours.

Compaction watering

Add water to fill so it reaches the moisture the compaction spec needs.

Watering new turf and landscaping

A deep soak for new turf, garden beds and plantings, sprayed from the cart. Useful before the irrigation is running. See our landscape construction.

Water truck hire: wet hire vs dry hire

Wet hire means the cart comes with someone to drive and run it. Dry hire means you get the truck or trailer and run it yourself. We only do wet hire, so you don't need to find an operator.

Want a trailer cart you can tow and run yourself? National hire companies like Kennards and Coates do dry hire trailer carts, and that's the better choice if you have your own tow vehicle and operator.

No. The cart fills at council standpipes and carries all the fittings it needs.

No, wet hire only. An operator comes with the cart. For a trailer cart you tow and run yourself, try a national hire company like Kennards or Coates.

Up to 60 km from our yard at the travel rates on this page. Further than that, call 1300 601 192 and we'll price it.

No. Bulk water delivery means we bring water, fill your tank or pool, then leave. Water cart hire means a water cart and operator work on a site for hours, spraying for dust suppression or compaction. We do both, and this page covers both.

A 40,000 litre pool takes about ten loads at 4,000 litres a load. If you don't know the volume, multiply the length, width and average depth in metres, then times by 1,000. An 8 by 4 metre pool that averages 1.4 metres deep holds about 44,800 litres, or 12 loads. Send us the measurements and we'll check the maths.
